Why did you start a blog?

The reason I started a blog was to inspire others. To show that its okay to be different and be expressive! No matter the circumstances. When I was a teenager I was always the outsider. I was always a little different than others you can say. In my teen years I could not be expressive the way I wanted to without being judged. I was always afraid of what others would think of me, even before trying to do what I wanted to. With the start of my blog, I can now express myself the way I want to, and be who I truly am, because it’s my blog! and the people that follow me today are the people that truly like me.

What does your blog cover?

My blog is a one stop shop! Haha, it covers beauty, fashion, music and everyday life. I will show you a little bit of everything. I will show you fashion inspo, beauty tricks, my musical side because I'm a singer, and my everyday life showing my family and fitness lifestyle. I also like to speak, I’m a talker! on my stories I tend to show my everyday life, as well as motivational speaking. You could potentially learn Portuguese too! I'm a bilingual influencer, so everything I say in English will be translated to Portuguese. I will be the first person to say good morning to you! So get used to my GOOD MORNING INSTA FAM!!!

What encouragement would you give new bloggers/those who are interested in starting?

This may sound cliche, but before starting anything BE YOURSELF!. Do not be a character, people will catch on to that. Start with what you love, and show us why you love it! Another thing is being consistent! People will come to your blog everyday, that being said, post everyday or develop a posting schedule. The day you don't post people will start to worry haha. Lastly, just have fun with it! The day you start feeling like it’s an obligation, and you are posting just for posting, stop and reflect! Because it should be fun and not feel like a job.

What struggles do you encounter?

As your blog starts growing, people / companies start to notice you! That being said people will want to start working with you. The struggle is trying to balance everything. I'm not a full time blogger yet, I still have a day job, I am still a wife and a mother. Sometimes balance is the biggest struggle for me.

Favorite/least favorite part of blogging?

Favorite part is when you have a lot of content! You just want to post everything at once haha, least favorite is when you are in a creative block! Trust me it happens to all of us! Even if you are in a creative block you still have to keep pushing through. Creative block is the is the biggest enemy for bloggers haha.

How did you come up with your name?

Well this one is easy haha, its my name !!

How long have you been blogging?

I’ve been blogging on a serious committed level since march of 2018, I know! Not a long time.

What has been your greatest achievement in this industry? Personal or professional

Biggest achievement on a professional level would be working with big brands. I’m a Colourpop Ambassador and a Sigma Beauty Affiliate. I’ve also been published twice on Boston voyager and have been working with other companies as well. On a personal level the biggest achievement for me was achieving self love. I learned to love myself. If I don’t love myself and others do, then what am I doing here! It always starts with you first!!

Who are some bloggers/influencers or creators in general that inspire you?

I have two people that inspire me the most, one is Camila Coelho. She is a very big Brazilian influencer. The most interesting thing is that she is from the same town I am! She is a hard worker and deserves everything she has today! She inspires me to be hard working as well. The second one is Jeffrey star! Oh my God! He is everything! The thing that I admire the most about him is that he came from nothing! And he is HUGE today! He just shows me that you are your only limitation. Go after what you want! And you will get it! You just have to set your mind to it.

What do you hope you’ll get out of being a Bloggers Live Boston member?

Genuine friendships and connections. Unfortunately the world we live in today is a dog eat dog world. I love that I can gain friends who truly understand this side of my life and are willing to help.
